Bower Dachshunds is a small three-dog family, with two mini dachshunds and a black American lab.  The puppies that are brought up in our family receive love and cuddles on a daily basis.  They are paper-trained and not allowed to spend time in the yard.  In fact, we recommend that none of our puppies are allowed outside until they have received all sets of vaccinations plus one week.  Our puppies spend most of their day in a giant kennel in the den.  Three times a day they spend play time in their large, indoor playpen or on the floor with us.  The playpen is also used at feeding time.  While the puppies are feeding, the kennel is throughly cleaned and readied for their return.  

Play times have to be our favorite times of the day.  If you can’t have fun playing with a pack of puppies, you don’t have a heart.
